KIRSI
ENKOVAARA

Enkovaara’s practice examines how to translate immaterial narratives into physical forms. Her work often explores how internal experiences, emotions, and personal perceptions can be visualised through material and structure. Her narratives emerge through material connections, with each piece often shaped by interaction—both in its creation and in its experience.

Kirsi Enkovaara graduated from the Royal College of Art, London in 2014 and her studio is currently based in Helsinki, Finland. She has exhibited extensively through Europe, exhibiting in Helsinki Design Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum and Somerset House. Her work has been featured in the front runner publications such as Dezeen, Wallpaper*, Interni and Frame Magazine.
